1. Accept that Change is Inevitable
Nothing can stay the same forever, and acknowledging that change is ultimately inevitable will help you get closer to finding inner peace. Devoting energy to fighting the changes is unproductive and can cause additional stress and negative feelings. One who continues to "fight" change misses opportunities to move forward.
2. Process Your Emotions
Try not to neglect the emotions you're experiencing as you go through the changes. Emotions are a pathway to a deep, intuitive part of ourselves that needs to be seen, heard and dealt with. Acknowledging your emotions is key to moving past them and getting through the transition.
3. Practice Gratitude
It is easy to let negative thoughts take over and consume you, which will just make things harder in the long run. Try to focus on the positive aspects of your situation, finding at least one thing to be grateful for each day. The more you do this, the easier it will be to have a positive attitude about everything in your life.
